Hope you all are going good....
Was surfing thru the TV channels yesterday and the news of the rebel of Indian Hockey team for a Higher salary was there... That made me think for getting even the salary indian hockey team had to rebel openly... That shows how pathetic our system is towards Sports.. I mean Natinal Game of India... All the sports in India are in pathetic state except Cricket... Cricketer will get what they want even for not playing... If they loose we will regret as if we have lost everything... we treat them as celebrity... I want to ask you guys How many of you actually remember at least 6 player names of Indian Hockey team? Do You? I know 95% of you would actually say NO.... The reason we are not bothered about Hockey... Just make out that the telecast of Hockey matches will be on DD sports... while silliest of Cricket match which Indian team plays will be telecast on the National television DD1 and many other private channels across india... Double standards for players....
Indian Hockey team has been ignored like never before... Why should a parent encourage his/her kid to pursue Hockey as career.??? Indian Government should take stern measures to improve the condition of Indian Hockey..right from Facilities provided to players, coaches and even the hockey federation should be revamped....
Can you see the news about hockey teams rebel now again on TV... NO.... because India Vs SL cricket match is ON so all other sports are OFF.... Indian Media should have a soft point for Hockey and Not only Cricket....
